The Imperial Truth can be difficult to understand, but it doesn’t have to be.

What a wonderful day this is...
To suffer and survive.
To wake again beneath the Emperor’s gaze,
and walk the only road I’ve ever known—
the sacred path where all the veins meet,
in steel and fire and unyielding faith.
O Golden Throne, sanctified machine,
Hear me now, for I kneel as one who has never prayed—
but tonight, I fall to my knees.
Let the Astronomican light scorch my doubt,
let the melody of sacrifice shine,
and cleanse my mind of weakness.
For this is the bittersweet symphony of existence:
To labor, to bleed,
a slave to coin, to duty,
and then to die—
if we are lucky enough to serve so well.
There is no change.
I cannot change.
I should not change.
I am molded by the creed,
forged by war,
and though I am a million fractured selves
from one day to the next,
I cannot change my mold.
No. No. No. No. No.
O Emperor,
Guide my steps down this sacred ruin,
this eternal warpath.
Where melody is silence,
where silence is a scream.
Where flesh gives way to steel,
and love becomes loyalty.
I hear no song, but I feel the pain.
Let it be known to You.
Let it be fuel for Your eternal flame.
This soul is cracked.
But it is Yours.
This mind is haunted.
But it serves.
This body is broken.
But it still fights.
So take me down the road once more,
the one where all the veins meet.
Take me where sacrifice sings,
and the light of Terra never fades.
Because I cannot change.
No.
But I can endure.
For You.
